Virginia Ann Shavers, 74, of Verbena passed away on April 30.

She was born on Wednesday, March 22, 1939, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Sam Phillip Rollan and the late Eva Mae White Rollan.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her sons, David Shavers of Verbena, Danny Shavers (Theresa) of Verbena, Jeff Shavers (Alfredia) of Verbena; daughter, Debra Crawford of Verbena; grandsons, Alex Shavers (Amanda) of Thorsby and Jamie Crawford of Verbena; granddaughters, Leigh Anna Shavers of Clanton, Kacy Davenport (Brandon) of Verbena, Adrianna Shavers of Clanton; sisters, Sammie Faye Powell (Wayne), Linda Stewart (Harrell), Shirley Rollan; brother, Sam Phillip Rollan Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Shavers.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m. on May 1 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held on May 2 at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Driver and the Rev. Greg Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Clanton.
