Mavis Dean Reynolds, 78, of Clanton, passed away on April 12 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. She was born on Oct. 5, 1934, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Carey Easterling and the late Cora Cleckley Easterling.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Dean Laxson of Clanton; son, Jerry Reynolds of Clanton; son, Bruce Reynolds of Clanton; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmer Reynolds. Funeral services will be held on April 13 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Davis officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sunshine Assembly of God Cemetery in Clanton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
