CCHS golf wins county title

Chilton County High School won the Chilton County Golf Tournament on April 1 at Montevallo Golf Course.

The Tigers totaled a 331 at the event, with Forrest Knight posting the tournament’s best individual score, a 74.

Two CCHS junior varsity teams posted the next two best team scores, a 361 and a 373.

Jemison shot a 384, and Thorsby shot a 442.

The all-tournament team included Knight and teammates Curt Bost (with an 80), Jordan Lightsey (81) and Madison Sanders (86); as well as Jemison’s T.J. Bragg (84).
