Both Tigers tennis teams earn wins

Chilton County High School’s boys and girls teams won matches against Tuscaloosa-Central on Monday.

The boys won 8-1, and the girls won 9-0.

Boys singles winners included Nick Lyn (by a score of 8-0), Rett Russell (8-0), Ryan Baker (8-0), Conner Morgan (8-0), Michael Seaton (8-3) and Nate Adams (8-3).

The CCHS doubles teams of Lyn/Russell (8-0) and Baker/Morgan (8-0) were also victorious.

Chilton’s David Miller won an exhibition match, 8-1.

CCHS girls singles winners included Ada Ruth Huntley (8-0), Anna Adams (8-0), Mary Colby Kelley (8-0) and Anna Lemus (8-4).

Doubles winners were the combinations of Huntley/Caitlyn Smith (8-2) and Adams/Lemus (8-1).

Central forfeited three matches.
