Marshall Lee Caton, 64, of Irvington died Sunday, March 24, 2013.

He was born on Monday, July 19, 1948, in Chilton County, son of the late Grady Lee Caton and the late Mary Frances Mims Caton.

He was a second captain of ship.

Surviving are his wife, Sue Caton of Irvington; son, Bobby Edmond of Enterprise; daughter, Yolanda Moore of Mobile; granddaughter, Brandi Edmond of Irvington; great-granddaughter, Aithne Edmond of Irvington, Jordan Edmond of Enterprise, Phoenix Edmond of Enterprise; brothers, Oneil Caton of Jemison, Ronnie Joe Caton of Clanton; sisters, JoAnn Bingston of Prattville and Vicki Holland of Prattville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Lee and Mary Frances Caton, and grandson, William Ray Edmond.

Friends will be received from 12:30–2 p.m. Friday, March 29, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 29, at 2:30 p.m. at Concord Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Randall Mims officiating.
