CCHS golfers finish fourth in tournament

Chilton County High School’s golf team placed fourth out of 14 teams in the Chilton County Invitational tournament it hosted at Timberline on Monday.

Chilton’s cumulative 330 score was behind only Trinity Christian (314), Tuscaloosa County (318) and Homewood (324).

Forrest Knight and Jordan Lightsey recorded the Tigers’ best score, a 78. The pair finished in a group of six tied for sixth overall individually.

Curt Bost and Cole Watley shot a 87, and Jacob Littleton shot a 94.

Jacob Hay (86) led the CCHS junior varsity group, while Cole Headley was close behind with a 91.

Brandon Stokes posted the best score for Jemison, an 88.
