Lowell Vance Bean

Lowell Vance Bean, age 45 of Jemison, passed away on March 7, 2013, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.

He was born in Chilton County on Nov. 26, 1967, the son of the late Johnny Lowell Bean and Norma Jean Collins Bean.

He worked in construction.

He is survived by: mother, Norma Bean of Jemison; sister, Tina Jones of Chelsea; niece, Jennifer Boyd Salter of Marbury; nephews, Skyler Boyd Whitman of Marbury and Logan Andrew Salter of Marbury.

Vance is also survived by his beloved dog, “Roxy.”

Vance was loved by all and leaves behind many, many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Lowell Bean; and his niece, Kayla Jean Boyd.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Jemison.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
