Haley Smith Mims, 25, of Clanton died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on Thursday, Sept. 24, 1987 in Jefferson County, daughter of Randall Eugene Smith and Helen Burnett Kilpatrick.

Surviving are her mother, Helen (William) Kilpatrick of Wetumpka; father, Randy Smith of Clanton; brother, Steven Smith of Clanton; aunt, Sara Varden of Clanton; aunt and uncle, Donna (Mike) Dozier of Columbiana; uncle and aunt, Alan (Liz) Smith of Dayton, Ohio; grandmother, Connie (Morgan) Easterling of Clanton; and great-grandmother, Loretta Price of Clanton.

Friends will be received from 5–8 p.m., Friday, March 8 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marc Hodges officiating.

Interment will follow in New Salem in Clanton.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to the funeral expenses.
