Bears take two from Dallas Co.
By Staff Reports Published 9:11pm Monday, March 4, 2013Billingsley swept a doubleheader against Dallas County on March 2, 2-0 and 8-1.
In the first game, Thomas Nichols and Tyler Powell each collected a hit, while Dalton Acreman and Matt Prebula each reached base on errors and drove in a run.
Acreman earned the win on the mound, while Garrett Price closed out the game to earn his second save of the season.
Justin Snow, Dalton Davis and Powell each collected a hit and two RBI in Game 2.
Nichols earned his third win on the mound, allowing one hit and striking out four batters in three innings.
Price finished the game by striking out six of the eight batters he faced.
