Chilton County tennis earns wins

Chilton County High School’s boys and girls tennis teams defeated Demopolis on Feb. 14, 8-2 and 7-2, respectively.

Ada Ruth Huntley (8-2), Anna Adams (8-0), Mary Colby Kelley (8-3), Anna Bearden (8-0), Jessica Morgan (8-3) were victorious in girls singles matches, and the combinations of Huntley/Caitlyn Smith (8-4), Adams/Bearden (8-0) and Kelley/Morgan (8-0).

In boys action, Nicholas Lyn (8-1), Rett Russell (8-1), Ryan Baker (8-4), Conner Morgan (8-3) and Nate Adams (9-7) pulled out wins.

The combinations of Lyn/Russell (9-8 [7-1]) and Baker/Morgan (8-2) won in doubles matches.
