The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from Jan. 19-Feb. 7:

Jan. 19
•Officer went to Hoover City Jail to pick up a male who had warrants for non-payment of traffic tickets with Maplesville.

Jan. 20
•Possession of marijuana during traffic stop: Ala. Highway 22 at Mile Marker 54 (arrest)
•Fight; possession of marijuana: Ala. Highway 139 (arrest)
•Traffic stop for speeding, defendant had pills, no prescription: Chevron, U.S. Highway 82

Jan. 22
•Failure to appear on three charges (arrested in Selma, transported to Maplesville)

Jan. 23
•Traffic stop: passenger had two warrants for failure to appear: U.S. Highway 82 and County Road 10 (arrest)
•Traffic stop: defendant had failure to appear warrants for two charges for expired tag and no insurance (arrest)
•Male stopped by state troopers had a failure to appear warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, picked up at the Dallas County line and taken to Chilton County Jail

Jan. 26
•Identity theft from a computer business in Prattville

Jan. 27
•DUI: Ala. Highway 22 at Mile Marker 54 (arrest)
•Traffic stop: felon in possession of a pistol; warrant out of Selma: Ala. Highway 22 (arrest)

Feb. 2
•Private property accident: Parking Lot of The Timbers Grill, U.S. Highway 82

Feb. 3
•DUI: Ala. Highway 22 and Foshee Ave. (arrest)
•Traffic stop: passenger had warrants with Maplesville for no insurance (arrest)
•Traffic accident at the railroad crossing on Foshee Ave., log truck crossing the tracks, a piece of steel fell from the trailer striking an automobile, no injuries

Feb. 5
•Student threatened to blow up school: Maplesville High School

Feb. 7
•Domestic violence: Maple Drive
