Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Jemison man on Sunday.

Mason Singleton Cluck, 22, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday on Alabama Highway 145, one mile north of Clanton, according to an Alabama State Troopers press release.

Cluck was killed when the 2001 Hyundai Elantra that he was driving ran off the road and struck a tree.

Trooper Kevin Cook said Cluck was the only individual in the vehicle and Troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the wreck.
