Mildred Neeley Griffin, age 85,  of Verbena passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.

She was born on Thursday, Nov., 24, 1927 in Chilton County.

She was an operator.

Surviving are her niece and caretaker, Mildred Bowman of Verbena; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Snooks Griffin.

Friends will be received on Feb. 16 from 1-2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at  2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Tucker officiating.

Interment will follow in Verbena Cemetery.
