Amanda Williams Hamilton

Amanda Williams Hamilton, 88, of Clanton died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on  Friday, Nov. 14, 1924. in Jefferson County, daughter of the late Alto Lee Williams and the late Zolola Blackshear Williams.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are daughter, Constance Hamby; son, John Hamilton; grandsons, Thomas Hamby, John Hamilton, Mathew Hamilton, Nathan Hamby; granddaughters, Amanda Hamby, Cheryl Julaka, Meredith Vincent, Amy White; great-granddaughters, Julia Hamilton, Ellen Hamby, Megan Vincent; great-grandsons, Garrett Julaka, Steven Julaka, Jared White, Tyler White, Jonah Hamilton, Jasper Hamilton and Wesley Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Hendricks Hamilton.
