Michael Guy Chancellor, 36, of Jemison died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.

He was born on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1976, in Louisiana, son of John M. Chancellor and Susan Gros Chancellor.

He was a construction worker.

Surviving are wife, Bethanie Chancellor of Jemison; sons, Peyton Chancellor of Jemison, John Lawson Chancellor of Jemison; father, John Chancellor of Clanton; mother, Susan Chancellor of Clanton; brother, Chris Chancellor of Clanton; sister, Angela Cole of Clanton; niece, Mary Jane Cole of Clanton, and Harley Cole of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brent Michael Chancellor.

Friends will be received from 5–8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, at 1:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Dovey and the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
