Paul Samuel Barrow
Published 6:41pm Tuesday, January 15, 2013Paul Samuel Barrow, 81, formerly from Chilton County, passed on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Bibb County Nursing Home.
He was born on July 27, 1931.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was preceded by his wife of 52 years, Gladys Crumpton Barrow; his parents, John B. and Leila Belle Barrow; and two brothers, John R. Barrow and Bryant Barrow.
He is survived by son, Jason Barrow (Mechele), Riverbend; daughter, Amelia Barrow Edge (Jonathan), Calera; grandchildren, Kathryn Barrow and Abigail Barrow; one sister, Leila Mae Barrow Bates, Dothan; and a large extended family and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. at Union Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Evie Megginson, the Rev. Daryle Nichols and the Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. He will lie in state two hours prior to the service.
