Diane Barrett Latham

Diane Barrett Latham, 54, of Clanton died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1958, in Bessemer, daughter of the late Charles Cobb and the late Charlotte Wood Cobb.

She was a waitress.

Surviving are her companion, Charlie Williams of Clanton; sons, Jason (Kacy) Barrett of Maplesville, Adam (Tiffany Easterling) Latham of Clanton; grandchildren, Alaxander Williams, Jacob Barrett, Makenzi Barrett, J.J. Sellers, Kyra Latham; brother, Jeff (Robyn) Cobb; sisters, Janet Leverette, Dana (Patrick) McDaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Charlotte Cobb, and sister, Debbie Murphy.

Friends were received from 6–8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. at graveside with the Rev. Robert Sandifer officiating.

Interment followed in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
