Jason Edwin Price, age 19 of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 28, 2012, at University Hospital in Birmingham.

He was born in Selma on May 6, 1993.

He is survived by: father, Eddie (Regina) Price of Clanton; mother, Kathy Smith of Andalusia; stepmother, Valerie (Clyde) Caudle of Clanton; sister, Kayla “KK” Price of Clanton; sister, Hayden Compton of Jemison; brother, Lance Price of Clanton; brother, Clayton Compton of Clanton; sister, Amanda (Trey) Littleton of Clanton; brother, Jonathan Caudle of Clanton; sister, Kayla Caudle of Clanton; grandmother, Jean Price of Clanton; grandfather, O’neal (Melissa) Caton of Jemison; grandmother, Myrtice Caton of Jemison; girlfriend, Candace Ashley of Marbury; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 5-8 p.m. at Clanton Church of God.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. from Clanton Church of God with the Rev. Billy Boatwright and the Rev. Teddy Chadwick officiating.

Burial followed in New Harmony Holiness Church Cemetery in Clanton.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
