Cecil E. Cash, 75, of Lawley died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born on Friday, May 21, 1937, in Alabama, son of the late Otis Cash and the late Mary Cash.

He was self-employed.

Surviving are wife, Mary Ruth Cash of Lawley; daughter, Donna C. (Mike) Barnhill of Lawley; granddaughter, Ashley Beth Barnhill (Charles Edward) Thomas of Northport; and great-grandson, Cash Michael Edward Thomas of Northport.

Friends will be received from 6–8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church (Perry Co.) with the Rev. Donald Harris officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist in Perry County.
