Sherida Darlene Harris Mayfield, 42, of Maplesville died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on Sunday, July 19, 1970, in Alabama, daughter of the late Bubby Harris and the late Barbara Ann Wood Harris.

She was a nurse.

Surviving are husband, Garry A. Mayfield of Maplesville;  daughters, Katie (Bo) Shirling of Maplesville, Morgan Mayfield of Maplesville; nephews, Justin Ledford, PJ Vickers; and sister, Dee Dee Vickers of Selma.

Friends were received from 5–8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m. at Cox Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Harris and Dr. Jake Fannin Sr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Cox Chapel Methodist Cemetery in Maplesville.
