James Edwin “Ed” Easterling

James Edwin “Ed” Easterling, 63, of Jemison died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born on Thursday, July 21, 1949, in Chilton County, son of the late James Clement Easterling and the late Lucille Johnson Easterling.

He was a salesman in industrial sales.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Easterling of Jemison; son, Shane (Karen) Easterling of Odenville; grandson, Brenden Easterling of Odenville; granddaughter, Keema Easterling of Auburn; brother, Ricky Charles (Carol) Easterling of Jemison; aunt, Mildred Scott of Montgomery; special cousin, Lynn (Martha) Scott of Montgomery; niece, Jennifer Robinson of Millbrook; nephew, Jalyn Easterling of Jemison.

Friends were received from 5–8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Pates Chapel Baptist Church.

Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. W.T. Cleckler and the Rev. Randal Mims officiating.

Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
