Jack Milton Meek

Jack Milton Meek, 85, of Clanton died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

He was born on Monday, March 7, 1927, in Montgomery, son of the late George A. Meek and the late Elsie Louise Taylor Meek.

He was a manager.

Surviving are his brother-in-law, Norman Hand of Clanton; nephews, Wendell Paul Hand of Verbena, Michael S. Hand of Cape Carl, Fla.; niece, Sandra Beard of Clanton; sister, Frances Woodham of Dothan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sibyl Meek.

Friends were received from 1–2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, at West End Baptist Church.

Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 2 p.m. at West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Wilson and the Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating.
