Bercha Palmer Cobb, age 91 of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 22, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Blount County on Feb. 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Iula Palmer and the late Jane Standridge Palmer.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: daughter, Sue (Mitchel) Handley of Clanton; daughter, Chryl (Thomas) Paxton of Cleveland; granddaughter, Lisa (Doyle) Martin of Clanton; grandson, Chris (Angie) Handley of Clanton; grandson, Andy Handley of Trussville; granddaughter, Samantha Paxton of Birmingham; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Nicholson officiating.

Burial will follow in Walnut Creek United Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.

There will be no public visitation.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
