Joseph Allen Simmons, age 60, of Calera, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dianne Simmons; daughters, Katrina Brasher (James) and Heather Sewell (Charlie); sisters, Dorothy McCormick (Bill) and Lou Jean Driver (Vestine); brother, Johnny Simmons; and grandchildren, Joshua and Christopher Brasher and Trey and Caleb Sewell.

A visitation will be on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Charter Funeral Home from 6–8 p.m.

A funeral service will be on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
