Toney Wesley Vaughn

Toney Wesley Vaughn, 78, of Clanton passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.

He was born on Friday, June 1, 1934, in Thompson, Ga., son of the late Joe Bennett Vaughn and the late Ila Belle Farr Vaughn.

He was a U.S. Navy Senior Chief, retired and a homebuilder.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Vaughn of Clanton; daughters, Linda (Mike) Fortner of Memphis, Tenn., Leslie (Chris) Bean of Tuscaloosa; son, Larry (Stephanie) Vaughn of Hoover; sister, Bobbye McMasters of Anniston; and eight grandchildren, Jason Wesley Fortner, Kala Fortner, Taylor Vaughn, Toney Vaughn, Bradley Bean, Luke Bean, Elizabeth Bean and Annabelle Bean.

Friends will be received from 12–1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at Clanton First United Methodist Church.

Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. at Clanton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Anderson, the Rev. Brian Dovie and the Rev. Alex Obernader officiating.

Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery.
