James Ermon McGee, 82, of Billingsley died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Prattville Baptist Hospital in Prattville.

He was born on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 1930, in Autauga County, son of the late Paul McGee and the late Ethel Chandler McGee.

He was an electrician. He served in the Army for 22 years as master sergeant and was owner of Mac’s Electric.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy McGee of Billingsley; son, Mike (Kelly) McGee of Billingsley; daughters, Regina (Roy) Gilliland of Billingsley, Brenda (Terry) Gilliland of Billingsley; grandchildren, Andy Gilliland, Daniel (Sue Ellen) Gilliland, Robbie (Rebecca) Gilliland, Kaela McGee; great-grandchildren, Johny Gilliland, Danielle Gilliland; sister, Jean McCullough of Jones; brother, Malcolm McGee of Pike Road.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ethel McGee; and three brothers, Paul Jr., Kenneth and Fred.

Friends were received from 11–12, Thursday, Dec. 13, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. at Big Springs Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley with the Rev. Paul Atchison officiating.
