Carol Dean Collum, age 83 of Thorsby, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene Collum; son, Billy Dan Collum; and daughters, Susan Lunsford and Kathy Collum.

Carol is survived by her sons, Ralph Collum Jr., Bobby (Brenda) Collum, and Michael (Misty) Collum; daughters, Debbie (Philip) Tate and Tammy Plier; five generations of grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 6–8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Avery officiating.

Burial followed at Old Rock Springs Cemetery.
