Jeremy Mason, age 37 of Pleasant Grove, passed away on Dec. 8, 2012.

He was born on May 14, 1975 in Cullman County, the son of Michael Eugene Mason and the late Betty Smith Jones.

He was a former roofer.

He is survived by: daughter, Lanie Mason of Clanton; daughter, Alexis Mason of Clanton; stepfather, Terry Jones Sr. of Bessemer; brother, Ronnie Gohlson of Pleasant Grove; sister, Melissa Armstrong of Hueytown; brother, Jamie Mason of Hueytown; brother, Terry Jones Jr. of Dora; grandmother, Dorothy Smith of Cullman; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: mother, Betty Smith Jones; grandfather, Horace Smith; uncle, Bo Smith; and aunt, Ann Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Thursday.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please contribute toward funeral expenses.
