Beatrice Wilson

Beatrice Wilson, 85, of Clanton died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on Sunday, July 10, 1927, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Richard Popwell and the late Dorilla Edwards Popwell.

She was a clerk.

Surviving are her two daughters, Sara Smitherman of Clanton, Linda (Wayne) Sherrill of Clanton; grandson, Chris Sherrill of Clanton; granddaughter, Sweda (Mark) Muir of Clanton; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzie Wilson.

Friends were received from 5–8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 25, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held Monday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
