Aileen Bice Collum, age 83 of Deatsville, passed away on Nov. 14, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Shelby County on April 19, 1929, the daughter of the late John Henry Bice and the late Annie Ellison Bice.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: daughter, Patricia BaKane of Alabaster; daughter, Peggy (Chuck) Burns of Deatsville; son, Dennis Collum of Deatsville; son, Donald Collum of Deatsville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Buery (Joyce) Bice of Jemison; brother, Oneal (Helen) Bice of Jemison; brother, Wayne (Faye) Bice of Crosby, Tenn.; brother, Benny Bice of Jemison; and sister, Ann (Bruce) Cofer of Jemison.

She is preceded in death by husband, Frank Collum, and grandson, John Matthew Burns.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 16, from 6–8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad BaKane officiating.

Burial will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
