Calvary Independent Baptist Church

We want to thank everyone for attending services this weekend. Sunday morning’s service included a message from Romans 6:16-23, and other passages, on being a servant of righteousness. It concluded a recent series of messages titled “Christianity Without Christ.” Christian is a word used to describe a person who is a follower of Christ. Christian does not describe a religion, but rather a relationship. Sunday night’s service included a message from Proverbs 14:34 and other passages on how righteousness exalts a nation. We want to invite you to come and be a part of any of our services. We are located south of Clanton, just past Dollar General, off U.S. 31 on Fulmer Drive. Bethsalem Baptist Church

Bro. Cleve Mallory opened our day of worship with ministry opportunities and welcoming. Great songs were sung by the congregation. Our guest speaker was Bro. Matt Hall from Boones Chapel’s youth ministry. The Celebration Choir sang “Walking With Jesus.” Bro. Matt Hall’s message came from Judges 6-7, “God’s Plan For Giedon’s Life.”

In the evening service, Chip Smith preached from Mark 2.

Wednesday night: family supper at 5:30 p.m. Prayer meeting for adults, children’s choir and The Outlet for students.
