Arliss H. Fox, 86, of Jemison died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

She was born on Saturday, Oct. 23, 1926, in Alabama, daughter of the late Hermie Hodgens and the late Maggie Miskelly Hodgens.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, James L. Fox of Jemison; daughter, Bette (Carl) Easterling of Jemison; son, Jim (Pat) Fox of Waldorf, Md.; seven grandchildren, Dell (Lisa) Langston of Clanton, Brian (April) Langston of Clanton, Jeffery Easterling of Auburn, Michelle (Paul) Smith of Jemison, David Fox of Canada, Lisa Osborne of Canada, Tammy Fox of Canada; a host of great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn Hicks.

Friends will be received from 1–3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m. at graveside with the Rev. Doug West officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist No. 1 Cemetery in Jemison.
