Sarah Davis, age 81, of Montevallo, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 in Alabaster.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ross A. (Jr.) Davis; sister, Mary Frances VanKuren; and grandchildren, Lisa James and Bradley Poe.

Sarah is survived by her daughters, June Wren of Birmingham, Patricia (Johnny) Poe of Calera, Debra (Steve) Payne of Montevallo and Darlene (Joey) Faucett of Jemison; sisters, Sadie Hill of Lake Wells, Fla., and Margaret Hunter of Lithia, Fla.; brothers, John Ferguson of Trenton, Fla., and Jeffery Ferguson of Plant City, Fla.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 6–8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Steve Chance officiating. Interment followed at Dry Valley Cemetery.
