•Personal message: First, I thank those who have helped me over the last few months while campaigning as well as the citizens of Chilton County whom I have met at ballgames, in your neighborhoods and on the streets while I was out passing along campaign information. If I did not speak to you personally, I apologize. However, my purpose for running for county commissioner remains the same. I want to help bring about the much needed change and improvements to Chilton County. I plan to help pursue a grant to improve our bridges and roads and help bring improvements to our county government. I also plan to continue to listen to the concerns of the people of this county. I want to work as your commissioner to help bring about much needed improvements to our rural communities. I want to work for the people of Chilton County. I want to work for you!

Aubry Wallace

•Family: Wife, Shirley; son, Kurt; daughter, Windy McCullar; son, Tim.

•Personal message: I am seeking this office only for the privilege of serving my community. I have served 20 years in the United States Air Force, and 20 years in law enforcement, while operating a successful small business with my wife for more than 20 years. I spent the last eight years of my Air Force career as wing training NCO at Norton Air Force Base, California and Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina where I learned the budget process. Knowledge I believe will be helpful to the commission.

Shannon Welch

•Age: 28

•Family: Wife, Amy Welch; daughter, Ella Welch.

•Education: 2002 graduate of Jemison High School.

•Personal message: First, I want to thank God for allowing me this opportunity. I have a great vision for Chilton County. We have a lot of undeveloped land along Interstate-65 that has great potential for business growth, which will create jobs for our citizens. Also, I would like to have a county wide clean-up program. There are many other things that give this county great potential. I ask for your vote on Nov. 6, so that I may serve this great county with the best of my ability.
