Joyce Kay Meank Blanton, 61, of Adamsville died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.

She was born on Saturday, July 28, 1951, in Clanton, daughter of Curtis Meank and Grace Thomas Meank.

She was a clerk with United Plywood.

Surviving are her husband, Tim Blanton; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Monte McAndrew; father and mother, Curtis and Grace Meank; brother and sister-in-law, Carey and Nancy Meank; sister, Janice (Bubba) Meank; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her nephew, Rodney Meank.

Friends will be received from 10–11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Click officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
