FOOTBALL PREVIEW: Red Devils rested after rare off-week

Published 4:40pm Thursday, October 11, 2012

And now with a rare week of rest, the Red Devils look to take on Talladega County Central on Friday in a game that Harris believes is very winnable, healthy or not.

“We can compete with most anyone,” he said. “We had great practices last Wednesday and Thursday. We got quite a lot accomplished. Those kids are not quitters.”

WHO WILL WIN?

Verbena hasn’t scored more than six points since the first week of the season, and the Red Devils haven’t scored more than 13 points all year. They’ll play tough again, but you have to score to be able to win.

Pick: Talladega Co. Central | Picks record: 25-13
