Terrance Nolen accounted for the only score of the game Thursday as Billingsley earned an important region win at Ellwood Christian, 6-0.

Nolen scored a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, and neither team would find paydirt again the rest of the game.

The win improves BHS to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in region play. After this week’s games, the Bears will be no worse than tied for third place in Class 1A, Region 3. The top four teams in each region advance to the state playoffs.
