Mustangs fade in second half

Published 12:12am Saturday, October 6, 2012

Isabella trailed only 6-0 at halftime in Friday’s game, but Lanett pulled away in the second half for a 34-0 win.

The Mustangs fall to 3-3 overall and 1-3 in Class 2A, Region 5 play.

The region loss hurts Isabella’s playoff chances with four weeks of region games remaining.

IHS coaches attributed the loss to turnovers and special teams breakdowns.

Next, Isabella hosts LaFayette.
