Winnie Lee Edwards, 74, of Clanton died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.

She was born on Tuesday, May 10, 1938, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Oscar Turner and the late Clara Langston Turner.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Billy Frank Edwards of Clanton; two daughters, Karen (Bubba) Payton of Clanton, Ann (Charles) Wright of Clanton; son, Randy (Earline) Edwards of Clanton; six grandchildren, Dwayne Wright, Kevin Wright, Catonia Hilton, Loretta Howell, Dustin Payton and Justin Payton; six great-grandchildren; brother, C.A. (Imogene) Turner of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Clara Turner and sister, Mildred Mullins.

Friends will be received from 12-2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at New Cedron.

Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at New Cedron with the Rev. Lynn Rowe officiating.

Interment will follow in New Cedron Cemetery, Billingsley.
