Republican Meet and Greet moved to Jeff St. Conference Center

Published 12:26pm Monday, September 17, 2012

A Meet and Greet event hosted by the Chilton County Republican Party on Monday has been moved to the Exposition Hall at the Clanton Conference and Performing Arts Center, according to Renee Powers, publicity chairwoman for the local Republican Party.

The event was originally scheduled for Goose Pond Park, but the threat of inclement weather forced the change of venue.

The Meet and Greet will be from 5-7:30 p.m. and will feature hot dogs, children’s activities, the gospel music group County Road 45 and, of course, a chance to hear Republican candidates for local offices.
