Man arrested for impersonating officer

A 19-year-old was arrested by Clanton Police after attempting to make several arrests Wednesday under the guise of a police officer, officials said.

Johnathan Dillan Caudle allegedly tried to handcuff four people around Clanton during lunch hours Wednesday, according to a news release.

The subject had a pair of handcuffs in his possession as he entered two local businesses and tried to arrest workers there. He also tried to arrest two pedestrians in Clanton during the same time frame.

    Well, Rambo impersonater is more like it…. I don’t know any of our Chilton County Police Officers who wear tank tops on duty….even if they were undercover. What a nut!

    I don’t know all the details to this story but I do know this guy and he tried to do the same thing to me and he did handcuff my best friend and IT WAS ALL A JOKE!!! so it makes me wonder if this is the situation or if there’s more to it.
