Curtis Franklin Bailey

Curtis Franklin Bailey, age 58 of Marbury, passed away suddenly on Sept. 7, 2012, in Marbury.

He was born in Coosa County on June 29, 1954, the son of the late Harvie Lee Bailey and the late Minnie Lee Johnson Bailey.

He was a drywall installer, and owner of Curtis Bailey Drywall.

He is survived by: wife, Kathy Isbell Bailey of Marbury; son, Daniel (Denise) Bailey of Keene, Texas; daughter, Donna Bailey (Jason) Blankenship of Marbury; son, Christopher Curtis (April) Bailey of Marbury; seven grandchildren: David Raines, Elizabeth Bailey, Sean Bailey, Christian Bailey, Kathryn Blankenship, Curtis James Blankenship and Caleb Bailey; brother, James A. (JoAnn) Bailey of Sylacauga; sister, Linda (Charles) Stallings of Sylacauga; brother, Oliver (Carolyn) Bailey of Deatsville; brother, Kenneth Lee (Ginger) Bailey of Verbena; and sister, Delois (Tommy) Owings of Sylacauga.

He is preceded in death by parents, Harvie Lee and Minnie Lee Bailey, and infant sister, Annie Sue Bailey.

Visitation was held on Monday, Sept. 10, from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. from Mt. Springs Independent Methodist Protestant Church with the Rev. Mike Isbell and the Rev. Don Vanderslice officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
