Daniel Nathan ‘Danny’ Minor
Published 8:43pm Wednesday, September 5, 2012Daniel Nathan “Danny” Minor, age 48 of Montevallo, passed away on Sept. 3, 2012, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
He was born in Chilton County on May 21, 1964, the son of the late Billy Joe Minor and Rebecca Lockhart Minor.
He worked as a restaurant cook.
He is survived by: mother, Becky Harris; father, Billy Harris; brother, Paul (Anita) Minor; nephews, Ashley and Adam Minor; niece, Kayla Thomas; four aunts, Dot, Tina, Martha and Myra; along with a host of cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Billy Joe Minor; and his sister, Belinda Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Hal Warren officiating.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
A private burial will be held at Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate toward the funeral expenses.
