Terry Wayne Dale, 71, of Clanton died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012.

He was born on Saturday, Sept. 21, 1940, in Alabama, son of the late Sam Dale and the late Mae Royal Dale.

He was a security officer.

Surviving are his wife, Edna Dale of Clanton; two sons, Gary (Wendy) Dale of Clanton and Allen Dale of Clanton; two grandsons, Luke Dale and Eli Dale; granddaughter, Mary Henning Dale; sister, Jeanette Mims of Clanton; brother, Toke Dale of Trussville; and brother, Willard Dale of Panama City, Fla.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Seales and the Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
