Loyce Leon Porter

Loyce Leon Porter, age 92 of Clanton, passed away on Aug. 19, 2012, at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton. She was born in Chilton County on Dec. 4, 1919, the daughter of the late Joe Frank Robinson and the late Maudie Scott Robinson.

She was a seamstress.

She is survived by: daughter, Minnie (Clyde) Varden of Clanton; granddaughter, Lisa (Nathan) Klinner of Jesup, Ga.; granddaughter, Tammy (Miles) Tracy of Clanton; granddaughter, Cindy Mills of Thorsby; granddaughter, Joni Varden of Thorsby; great-grandchildren, Carrie Patterson, Holly Taylor, Matthew (Tara) Klinner, Eric Mills and Jeremiah (Kimi) Rey; great-great-grandchildren, Chloe Taylor, Kaden Klinner and J.J. Rey; and brother, J.O. Robinson of Thorsby.

She is preceded in death by: husband, Onary Porter.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 2:30 p.m. in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison with the Rev. Eugene Atcherson officiating.
