Master Gardener will be missed

Published 2:54pm Monday, July 16, 2012

Dear Editor,

God has picked another flower from our bouquet. Chilton County Master Gardener Joann Jordon Johnston was a very special friend to all her Master Gardener family and her friends in Chilton County.

She was such a pleasant person with a warm and gentle smile. She enjoyed nature, gardening and beautiful flowers. She was a Godly woman.

JoAnn had a lake home on Lake Mitchell. She enjoyed spending lots of time there in the summer months. She also enjoyed First United Methodist River Church. She attended as long as her health would allow her to.

JoAnn always showed up in the spring and fall to plant downtown Clanton and enjoyed every minute of it. She was always willing to help in any way she could.

JoAnn was a wonderful Master Gardener and friend. She will be missed by all.
