Mr. and Mrs. Barry Pitts announced the engagement and marriage of their daughter, Sally Nicole Pitts, to Kevin Michael Fichtner, son of Tom and Maureen Shappley and Ernie and Sue Fichtner.

Miss Pitts is the granddaughter of Carolyn Parker. She is a graduate of Jemison High School and Auburn University. She is a news anchor for WSFA television in Montgomery.

Mr. Fichtner is a graduate of Daphne High School and Auburn University. He is employed at Auburn University in the Communications and Marketing Department.

The wedding was held June 2 at Jemison First Baptist with the reception following at the Pitts Family Farm.
