Thorsby’s season ended with loss at Leroy

Published 4:11pm Saturday, May 5, 2012

Leroy did it to Thorsby again.

Another deep THS playoff run was halted by the Bears. This time, Thorsby’s season ends with a 7-0 loss in Game 3 of a series at Leroy.

Last year, Leroy eliminated the Rebels at their home field.

Thorsby’s 2012 season ends in the quarterfinal round of the Class 2A state playoffs. The Rebels finish with a 21-13 record.

Leroy (32-6) will play the winner of the Flomaton-Wicksburg series, with a chance at a berth in the state championship series on the line.
