Raleigh Lawrence West Jr., age 50, of Clanton, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012. He was born March 30, 1961 to Raleigh and Margie West of Pelham.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Debra West; son, Paul Scruggs Jr. (Carrie); daughters, Carmen West and Ashley Martin (Keith); sister, Sharon Sellers (Jackie); grandfather, Richard Demming; grandchildren, Lisa Scruggs, Adrin West, Allee Martin and Sienna Scruggs; niece, Brittany Sellers; nephew, Brandon Sellers and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18 at the Hickory Hills Church in Alabaster. Bro. Andy Cummins officiated.
