Updates from northern Chilton County

No injuries or damages were reported in Jemison and Thorsby following the storms that moved through Chilton County early Monday morning.

Neither Jemison nor Thorsby experienced power outages, and no roads are closed in the area at this time.

“We have no problems,” said Thorsby Mayor Dearl Hilyer. “Not aware of any damage. No police response, no fire emergency response. We were blessed.”
